The Finisar FTLF8528P2BCV-IB is a reliable 4G Fibre Channel short-reach SFP optical transceiver engineered for enterprise and data-center storage area networks (SANs). Using an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter, it supports 4G Fibre Channel with backward compatibility to 2G and 1G Fibre Channel, allowing smooth integration into mixed-speed SAN environments.
This module supports transmission distances of up to 150 meters over OM3 multimode fiber, making it ideal for switch-to-switch, switch-to-storage, and host bus adapter (HBA) connections within data centers. It features a hot-pluggable SFP form factor, low power consumption, and dependable optical performance.
