The Nokia 472797A (FBBC) Flexi Baseband Capacity Extension Module is designed to expand the processing and connectivity capabilities of Nokia Flexi Multiradio and Flexi BTS systems. It enables operators to increase network throughput and support additional LTE cells without changing the existing baseband unit. With four OBSAI RP3-01 optical interfaces (6 Gbps each) and support for dual-module installations (up to twelve optical links in one system module), it delivers flexible and scalable capacity expansion. The module supports up to three 20 MHz LTE cells or six 10 MHz cells (2×2 MIMO) and maintains high efficiency with -48 V DC input and minimal power consumption. It is ideal for operators seeking to upgrade base station capacity while maintaining network stability and continuity.
