Description
The Finisar FTL4C1QE2L is a high-performance 40GBASE-LR4 QSFP+ optical transceiver designed for long-reach 40 Gigabit Ethernet applications in data centers, enterprise backbones, and service-provider networks. It operates over single-mode fiber (SMF) using four CWDM wavelengths around 1310 nm, multiplexed onto a single fiber pair.
This module supports transmission distances of up to 10 km, making it ideal for inter-building links, aggregation layers, and metro Ethernet deployments. It is housed in a hot-pluggable QSFP+ form factor and uses an LC duplex interface for easy integration into existing fiber infrastructure.
The FTL4C1QE2L supports DOM/DDM digital diagnostics, enabling real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, transmit bias, and optical power to ensure stable and predictable network performance. It is compliant with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba standards for broad interoperability.
