The Finisar FTLF1424P2BCR is a dependable 4G Fibre Channel long-reach SFP optical transceiver engineered for enterprise and data-center storage area networks (SANs). Operating at a 1310 nm wavelength, it supports 4G Fibre Channel with backward compatibility to 2G and 1G Fibre Channel, ensuring flexibility in mixed-speed environments.
This module enables stable transmission of up to 10 km over single-mode fiber (SMF), making it suitable for inter-building connectivity, disaster-recovery links, and metro-scale SAN deployments. It features a hot-pluggable SFP form factor, low power consumption, and reliable optical performance.
