The Finisar FTLF8519P3BNL is a reliable multimode SFP optical transceiver designed for 1G and 2G Fibre Channel as well as Gigabit Ethernet applications. Using an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter, it delivers stable short-reach connectivity suitable for enterprise networks, storage area networks (SANs), and data-center environments.
The module supports transmission distances of up to 300 m on OM2 and up to 550 m on OM3/OM4 multimode fiber. It is hot-pluggable, operates from a standard 3.3 V power supply, and features low power consumption.
