The Finisar FTLF8536P4BCL is a high-performance 16G Fibre Channel short-reach SFP+ optical transceiver built for modern storage area networks (SANs). Operating at 850 nm with a high-speed VCSEL transmitter, it supports 16G Fibre Channel while maintaining backward compatibility with 8G and 4G Fibre Channel, ensuring seamless deployment in mixed-speed environments.
This module supports transmission distances of up to 100 meters on OM3 and up to 200 meters on OM4 multimode fiber. It features a compact, hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor, low power consumption, and full DOM/DDM digital diagnostics, enabling real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, laser bias current, and optical power.
