The Finisar FTLX1471D3BCL is a high-performance 10GBASE-LR/10GBASE-LW SFP+ optical transceiver for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 10G Fibre Channel applications over single-mode fiber. Operating at a 1310 nm wavelength with an uncooled DFB laser, it supports data rates from around 9.95 Gb/s up to 10.3/11.3 Gb/s and delivers a reach of up to 10 km on standard SMF, making it ideal for data centers, enterprise networks, and metro links.

This hot-pluggable SFP+ module runs off a single 3.3 V power supply with power dissipation under 1 W and uses an LC duplex optical interface for easy integration into switches, routers, and network interface cards. It complies with the SFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR standards and supports SFF-8472 digital diagnostics, enabling real-time monitoring of temperature, supply voltage, transmit bias, and optical power to ensure reliable operation and simplified troubleshooting.
