The Finisar FTLX2072D327 is a carrier-grade 10GBASE-ZR DWDM SFP+ optical transceiver engineered for long-haul and metro optical networks. Operating on DWDM ITU Channel 27 (approximately 1562 nm), it enables dense wavelength-division multiplexing to maximize fiber capacity while supporting transmission distances of up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF).

This module uses a high-power EML laser transmitter paired with a high-sensitivity APD receiver, ensuring stable performance across extended distances without the need for amplification in many deployments. It is hot-pluggable, operates from a standard 3.3 V supply, and supports full DOM/DDM diagnostics for real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage, laser bias, and optical power.
