The RDH10248/2 is a reliable SFP optical transceiver compatible with Ericsson and multi-vendor networking equipment. Designed for 1000Base-BX-D/U Gigabit Ethernet links over single-mode fiber (SMF), it uses a 1550 nm transmit / 1310 nm receive wavelength setup for bidirectional optical communication. With an LC simplex connector and support for Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), this hot-pluggable module enables robust data links across long distances — typically up to ~20 km (depending on fiber type and environment).
