The Huawei CloudEngine S6730-S24X6Q is a next-generation 10GE-enhanced Layer 3 switch built for high-performance enterprise campus networks and cloud-ready data center environments. It features 24 × 10GE SFP+ downlink ports and 6 × 40GE QSFP+ uplink ports, offering exceptional throughput and flexibility. These uplinks can also be upgraded to 100GE via a software license, making it future-proof for bandwidth-intensive scenarios. Equipped with dual pluggable AC/DC power supplies, intelligent fan speed control, and air-cooled front-to-rear airflow, the switch is designed for efficient and reliable operation in demanding environments. With support for advanced features such as VXLAN-based network virtualization, QoS, ACL, and stacking via iStack, it enables simplified operations and intelligent O&M. Powered by Huawei’s Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) and cloud-based management, the S6730-S24X6Q is ideal for acting as a core switch in campus networks or an access/aggregation switch in cloud data centers.
