Description
The XCVR-S40U33 is a Ciena-compatible SFP+ optical transceiver designed for high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications with bidirectional (BiDi) optical signaling. It uses a single strand of SMF to transmit and receive data using 1330 nm as the transmit wavelength and 1270 nm as the receive wavelength, enabling fiber usage efficiency and longer reach. This module supports a link distance of up to 40 km, features Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) for real-time diagnostics, and complies with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBase and SFP+ MSA standards, making it suitable for long-haul data center, metro, and carrier networks.
