The XCVR-S60U27 is a Ciena-compatible SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications. It uses bidirectional (BiDi) optical signaling with a 1270 nm transmitter and 1330 nm receiver on a single fiber strand, enabling up to 60 km distance on single-mode fiber. This module complies with SFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ae standards, supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) for real-time diagnostics, and operates in commercial environments from 0 °C to 70 °C. Its compact, hot-swappable SFP+ form factor makes it ideal for long-haul network links, metro networks, and data center connectivity requiring cost-effective extended reach optical links.
